CAL UNITED STRIKERS FC FALL SHORT IN AWAY TRIP TO DETROIT

A penalty for the home team proved to be the difference.
 

 

Detroit, MI – Cal United Strikers FC fell short in their first ever away trip vs Detroit City FC.

 

Keyworth Stadium's intense atmosphere didn't disappoint as the home crowd showed up to support the home team's bid to clinch the NISA Fall 2021 Championship.

 

A first half penalty proved to be the difference as midfielder Felipe Liborio Jr. was judged to have brought down the Detroit City FC player.

 

Despite good chances falling to forward Bryan Medina, Cal United Strikers were unable to find the equalizer
